Sedation Dentistry- Relax and Forget You Were Ever Here!
Glacier Dental is your dental home, dedicated to helping you get the smile you deserve with the help of Sedation Dentistry. Did you know, nearly 40 million people completely avoid the dentist out of fear? You are NOT alone and we want to help you kick your dental fear to the curb.
Do you experience any of the following:
•Difficulty sleeping the night prior to an appointment.
•Sitting in the waiting room makes you more nervous.
•Shallow breathing and/or sweaty palms during your visits.
•Fear of dental instruments.
Did any of these describe you? If so, you may be a good candidate for sedation dentistry. The first step to overcoming your fear is having a conversation with one of our specialist. During this conversation be sure to express your feelings, the unique barriers you may have to overcome as well as your individual fears. Our team of highly trained experts understand that no two patients are alike and take your apprehensions very seriously.
“I have always been terrified of the dentist from previous bad experiences. I made a New Year’s resolution this year to finally go to the dentist after getting a flyer from Glacier Dental in the mail. It was the best decision I have ever made!!!! Dr Goetsch and the staff are amazing!!!!! If you find yourself in the same situation I SERIOUSLY advise you to make an appt with them. You will NEVER regret it!!!!! I am finally very HAPPY to go to the Dentist – my fear is totally gone thanks to Glacier Dental.” -Pam Baer
There are several elements we can provide you with to make your dental visits worry and pain free. We offer laughing gas (Nitrous Oxide) to help fearful patients relax. We also offer a comfort basket that is full of complimentary items to help you feel more at ease and comfortable throughout your visit. Some of the items include a blanket, IPad with music and Netflix, lip balm and water. For more severe anxiety, Oral Conscious Sedation may be recommended. Oral Conscious Sedation is when a sedative is taken in pill form prior to visit, which allows you to be in a deeply relaxed state. Regardless of what you decide, take comfort in knowing that the doctor will not start any treatment until you say you are ready. Once you are ready, time will fly by as the doctor gives you a healthy mouth that looks and feels great. All treatment can be done in one visit, while you relax and forget you were ever here!
