Understanding Our Decision
Why will you no longer be in-network with Delta Dental?
Over the past several years, Delta Dental has significantly reduced reimbursement rates to dentists while simultaneously increasing premiums to patients and employers. They've also implemented stricter limitations on treatment options and materials, making it increasingly difficult for us to provide the level of care we believe you deserve. This trend is happening nationwide, with many quality-focused dental practices making similar decisions.
Will this happen with other insurance companies too?
Delta Dental is the only insurance company we've remained in-network with. Our patients who use other insurance companies are already accustomed to out-of-network benefits and won't experience any change.
Understanding Your Coverage
Will I still be able to come to your office?
You can absolutely continue using your Delta Dental benefits at our office. We will continue to handle all claim submissions for you. You may receive a letter from Delta Dental notifying you of this change as well. What we’ve found is that many of our patients with Delta Dental have chosen to continue their care with us, finding that the difference in any out-of-pocket investment is minimal compared to the benefits of staying with a dental team they know and trust.
How does this affect what I pay?
For your routine hygiene visits (cleanings, exams, and x-rays), you'll likely see little to no change in your out-of-pocket investments. We aim to keep them as stable as possible — regardless of insurance network status. For other treatments, there may be some variation depending on your specific Delta Dental plan, and will continue to offer payment options to help keep your care convenient and minimize any impact.
Will you help me understand my specific coverage?
Yes, as always our patient coordinators will provide a complimentary benefits analysis for you at your visit to help you understand your out-of-network coverage upon your request.
Financial Options
What payment options do you offer?
We accept all major credit cards, HSA/FSA, cash, check and other payments including:
- CareCredit with 6–12 month interest-free options
- In-house payment plans for qualifying treatments
Making Your Decision
Why are so many patients choosing to stay despite the network change?
Other patients just like you, have told us they value:
- The relationship with our team they know and trust
- Our exceptional quality of care and attention to detail
- The personalized experience they receive at each visit
When patients compare these benefits of staying with a dentist they love and trust to the relatively small difference in out-of-pocket costs, most choose to continue their care with us.
How do I let you know I'm staying with Glacier Dental?
No action is needed—just keeping your next scheduled appointment lets us know you’re staying! We’re so thankful for your continued trust in our care.
