Sedation Dentistry
We are 5-Star Caregivers Delivering an Experience to Smile About!
Find Comfort with Oral Conscious Sedation
Our doctors at Glacier Dental are highly trained and experienced with Oral Conscious Sedation. This is a method of sedation where the mind is completely relaxed through ingesting a prescription of relaxation medications unique to you. We combine this sedation method with nitrous oxide to ensure you are completely comfortable throughout your visit.
Although this is a type of conscious sedation, you will still need a driver to get you to and from your appointment.
IV Sedation - Coming End of 2026!
IV sedation is a safe and effective way to help patients feel deeply relaxed during their dental visit. It’s often a great option for those who feel nervous, have dental anxiety, or are undergoing longer or more complex treatments.
With IV sedation, medication is gently delivered through a small line in your arm or hand. It works quickly, helping you feel calm, comfortable, and at ease within minutes. Most patients remain conscious but very relaxed—and many remember little to nothing about their procedure afterward.
One of the biggest benefits is how smooth and stress-free the experience feels. It also allows our team to complete more treatment in fewer visits, which can save you time and make your care more convenient.
At Glacier Dental, your comfort and safety are always our top priorities. IV sedation is carefully monitored the entire time, so you can feel confident knowing you’re in experienced, attentive hands. This type of sedation requires a driver to and from your appointment.
Mild Relaxation Options
As always, we also offer our patients a variety of comfort items throughout their visit. These are great options if sedation is not for you, but you prefer to keep your mind distracted while at the dentist.
Nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas, is a widely used option for patients looking to reduce pain perception and create a sense of calmness. This option is most popular with children and patients who have slight anxiety.
We also offer options like blankets, warm chairs, & bluetooth headphones to provide you access to listen to your favorite music or watch a show; a great opportunity to disconnect and relax.
