A Different Kind of Pediatric Dental Experience

Many pediatric dentist offices run like high-volume clinics meaning quick cleanings, minimal conversation, and little time to truly understand a child’s growth and health needs. At Glacier Dental, we do things differently.
  • We take the time to listen and understand the unique needs of every child and family member; we don’t rush appointments.
  • We explain everything in ways kids and parents understand. Have you met Whiskers the Seal?
  • We focus on comfort, trust, and creating positive dental memories. Check out our patient comfort menu at your next visit!
  • We train our team to handle patients of varying abilities. Check out our FAQ below.
  • One dentist, your whole life. That’s right - from newborn to 100+ we’re committed to being your dentist, for life.

Airway & Sleep Screening – A Big Differentiator

Because a child’s mouth and jaw are still growing, the way their teeth, jaws, and tongue develop has a big impact on how they breathe and sleep. Things like jaw position, tongue posture, and narrow dental arches can affect airflow at night and may contribute to mouth breathing, snoring, or restless sleep. Through adolescent screening, we are often able to notice early signs of these challenges — such as teeth grinding, dry mouth, crowded teeth, or enlarged tonsils — even before parents see concerns like daytime tiredness, trouble focusing, behavior issues, struggling in school or morning headaches.

With a myofunctional therapist on our team, we can gently guide healthy muscle habits early, supporting proper growth, better breathing, and more restful sleep. Addressing these patterns in childhood can improve overall health and help reduce the risk of sleep-related issues as they grow. Read more about our integrative airway-focused orthodontics, too. We truly care about proper oral development while creating a beautiful smile.

What Kids & Families Love About Glacier Dental

We believe a great dental experience should feel fun, comfortable, and stress-free — especially for kids. Our team and Dentists are wonderful with children and take extra time to make sure they feel safe, heard, and supported at every step of their dental journey.

Families often tell us their kids love coming here because our office is simply easy to be in. There’s no strong “dental office” smell, there’s a playroom designed just for kids, Netflix and music in the treatment rooms, and plenty of fidget toys to help little hands stay busy. On top of that, kids may join our Kids Smile Club and meet Whiskers the Seal.

We know busy parents are juggling school, sports, and packed schedules, so we offer a snack and beverage station to help keep hunger at bay during visits.

More importantly, we’re intentional about creating an experience kids enjoy. From the moment they walk in to the moment they leave smiling, we’ve created an environment where kids can relax, have fun, and build positive feelings about dental care that last a lifetime.
